Over the past two months, our community has been buzzing with excitement as we delved into the fascinating world of smart wearables.
On June 15th, we kicked off an electrifying session exploring the creation of Open Source Smart Glasses and their diverse applications across various scenarios.
Fast forward to July 20th, where we hosted yet another captivating meetup to unveil the groundbreaking Proactive AI Agents Smart Glasses. During this event, we were fortunate to have Laurent Le Pen share the remarkable journey behind Omate -- a brand that has revolutionized smartwatches, smart rings, and IoT devices. Laurent's insights into how these innovations emerged in Shenzhen left everyone in awe.
Except speaker, several audiences graced the stage, sharing their projects in robotics, smart microphones, smart mirrors, and beyond. The discussions sparked countless ideas and collaborations.

Cayden Pierce (凯登) is a researcher, engineer, and creative at the MIT Media Lab and a Memetic Apprentice at Auki Labs. With experience spanning university research labs, startups, and companies including the University of Toronto, the National University of Singapore, and JITX, Cayden's work lies at the intersection of human-computer interaction, sensing, and consciousness.
Cayden returns to share his latest innovations in spatial wearable computers—devices that can precisely understand their 3D surroundings, offering AI new "eyes" and transforming the retail experience for both workers and customers.
