What does it take to do on-demand mass customization? Using simulation for design, clothing can be customized to each person’s unique body measurements. No more fitting bodies to clothes, if the clothes can fit to the person. What happens if one treats clothing as a new type of hardware? Embedding wearable technologies in clothes can make fashion more functional and sustainable.

On September 2nd, we will invite Kitty Yeung, Senior Director of Artificial Intelligence at Browzwear and founder of Art by Physicist, to share her views. In this talk, the speaker will demonstrate original and eco-friendly fashion items created with digital painting, textile printing, open-source hardware, 3D printing, physics simulations and artificial intelligence, that are not only works of art but also revolutionizing the fashion industry. The talk will be divided into two parts: sharing and Q&A. Schedule as follows:

14:00 - 16:30,Sharing|What will happen if clothing is treated as a new type of hardware?

16:30 - 17:00,Q&A
