Hacker Trip to China (HTTC), organised by Mitch Altman, is a fun and cool exchange event that we would definitely recommend you to go. With a diverse group of hackers, makers, innovators and designers from around the globe, sparks are sure to fly when they are gathered here in China, touring around the different cities to have a better understanding of the local Chinese scene and manufacturing ecosystem.

今天,小编要为大家介绍一个活动:Hacker Trip to China(HTTC)。Hacker Trip to China (HTTC)是由Mitch Altman先生举办的一项又好玩又很酷的交流活动。这项交流活动聚集了来自世界各地的黑客,创客,创新者和设计师,让参与者们进行思想上的碰撞!所有参与者将会到中国不同的城市参观,深入了解中国的制造生态。



Once again, HTTC is back with Beijing, Xi’ an, Chengdu and Shenzhen as the target cities to visit. They will be coming to Shenzhen from October 25th to 31st. HERE’S THE GOOD NEWS: they will be at Chaihuo x.factory (Shenzhen) and has invited everyone to their Bring-A-Hack event on October 30th (Wednesday)! Anyone can bring your project and give a 5-minute presentation to share the story and inspirations behind your making:) Make sure that you bring your project to show&tell when you sign up for the event.

这次,HTTC将把参与者带到北京,西安,成都,上海和深圳参观。他们将于2019年10月11-31日来到深圳。小编在此分享一个大好消息:他们将于2019年10月30日(周三)来到深圳柴火创客空间,举办他们的Bring-A-Hack活动!届时,任何人都可以把自己的项目带来,用一个5分钟的呈现来介绍你的项目,分享它背后的故事!如果你报名参与这个活动,记得要带上自己的得意之作,来跟这群黑客们分享你的项目哟。

Mitch is a hacker and inventor, known for inventing TV-B-Gone, a keychain that turns off TVs in public places. He co-founded a successful Silicon Valley startup and did pioneering work in Virtual Reality. He is an author and teacher, and goes around the world giving talks and workshops. Mitch promotes hackerspaces, open source hardware, and mentors others wherever he goes. He is a co-founder of Noisebridge hackerspace in San Francisco and is President and CEO of Cornfield Electronics.

Audrey Lim

Audrey is a Singaporean lawyer‐turned‐programmer. In 2014 she taught herself Go programming outside of her day job, and a year later was invited to speak at GopherCon in Denver, USA, the largest gathering of Go programmers. The experience of speaking before some distinguished engineers, whose tutorials she consumed barely a year ago, left a deep impression on her. She left law in 2014 to become a software engineer and never looked back since. She has since worked at various companies in Singapore, Silicon Valley, and Tokyo. She has also been giving talks at Go conferences around the world, and contributes to open source projects.

Benjamin Anderman

Benjamin grew up in the woods in Ontario, Canada, did not attend any schooling (including home schooling, or college later), and is now a software engineer living in Brooklyn, New York. He dabbles in hardware (designing custom PCBs, Arduino), and enjoys: music (drumming), photography, hiking, soccer, diabolo (aka Chinese yo‐yo), unicycle, and juggling.

Daniel Harzenmoser

Daniel is a self‐employed ICT expert for insurance companies in event of damages for more than 15 years now. He has an electronic and a business administration/marketing background, was CTO for a small telecom in the roaring nineties, celebrates technical hobbies such as helicopter and boat model making/piloting, HAM (HB9GVD), Pinball collector and player (HAR, IFPA Player # 6033), playing the piano and has interests in contemporary art.

Diane Hamilton

Diane learned to sew at age 6, and by 12, when she got her first job at a local fabric store, she had already taught herself embroidery, crochet, dressmaking, and Macramé. While travelling the world, Diane has designed and created several tech‐fashion garments, using lighting and reflective materials to enhance the form of the wearer.

Jonathan Hefter

Jonathan is the founder and chairman of Neverware, an education technology startup that brings old, slow computers in schools back to life. Neverware's CloudReady OS is used by thousands of schools around the world to transform their aging computers into the fast learning machines that their students need to thrive in today's digital learning environment. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School and resides in New York City.

Lina Lopes

Lina is a consultant, entrepreneur and artist. She expresses the intersection of art and technology. Graduating with a degree in Cinema, she has an interdisciplinary background that also includes theater, engineering and computing. She has extensive experience in parametric and generative design, video mapping, interactivity, Arduino, wearables, IoT, biomaterials, among others. She is a speaker on innovation and mentor of bootcamps. Lina is a director at LILO.ZONE, space for creative use of technology and is at the forefront of the LILO.THINK initiative, focusing on immersive processes and the relationship between people and processes.

Max Bondy

Max was born in Berlin, 1987, and studied Photography, Mediascience, Art History. His interests are net politics, technology, philosophy, politics and media art in general. He is currently learning Mandarin and loves the language, but haven’t gotten very far as of yet. He also spent a semester living in Hong Kong and is looking to see more parts of China.

Noah is a digital nomad working on electronics and programming projects in Asia.

Paul Hamilton

Paul has previously worked in IT and electronics for many years. He and his wife Diane have recently retired and are looking forward to having more time for travelling Asia and working on personal projects. Paul has an innate curiosity of the world around him which often leads to some wacky projects or citizen science projects.

Ward de Ridder

Ward is a Belgian based radio engineer for Tranzcom, where he sets up and maintains digital radio systems. He studied Applied Engineering Electronics & IT in college, and is also a volunteer for Wireless België, which sets up point‐to‐point Wi‐Fi links, providing free internet for everyone. He is also an organizer for Fri3d Camp, a Belgian hacker camp.

Antoine Pintout

Antoine is a 24 years old art school graduate. He loves stage and light design, but his strongest passion is electronics. He began unscrewing PC cases when he was 8. Now, he designs electronics products for artists and designers (and for himself when he has time!).

Ely Bessis

Ely graduated from art school in 2015. His art involves interactivity, robotic motion, and communication. For this, he has mastered carpentry, metallurgy, and electronics. Ely has worked as a designer, including robotic installations for Chanel, paper design for Christian Dior, and multimedia creations for Atelier Renault. Interest in interactivity and audience behavior led to being a prop designer for VR, including a piece presented at TRIBECA festival in 2018.

Martin de Bie

Martin is a designer/teacher/researcher based in Paris. He researches hybridization of craft and high‐tech. He collaborated with Graffiti Research Lab, combining interaction tech with urban culture. Martin co‐funded DataPaulette hackerspace in Paris, focusing on textiles and digital technologies. He shares his time between teaching physical computing and interaction design, at ENSAD and his personal research.

Michelle Lai

Michelle is an urban farmer, forager, and is interested in issues related to the local food system. She is also interested in exploring community-driven innovation and community engagement practices ‐ and food hacks of course!

Will Scott

Will is a distributed systems and network researcher. Most recently, he was part of the founding team of Oasis Labs, a blockchain startup. Previously, he received his PhD from the University of Washington, and taught computer science in Pyongyang.

Jaga

Jaga is an engineer, programmer, and robotics enthusiast. She studied and graduated with technical degrees in both computer science and automation robotics. In her daily job she does consulting in the areas of devops, automation, and testing. Powered by curiosity, she's eager to learn new things in the areas of applied organic chemistry and biology. In her free time she solders PCBs, makes soap, and bakes.

Sreejith Mohanan

Sreejith is a maker, entrepreneur from India currently working as the Head Of Engineering at Elsys Intelligent Devices, who has been part of Fabacademy and Bioacademy.
